Important Dates

The One Screen Short Film Festival will be accepting entries in three submission periods. Please note that entry fees increase during each deadline period, based on when an entry is completed in the system, regardless of entry creation date. Please refer to the categories page for current entry fees.

• Early Deadline: August 14, 2023
• Regular Deadline: September 18, 2023
• Extended Deadline: October 16, 2023


• Payment Deadline:
  All payments must reach The One Club within 15 days of the invoice date.

• First Round: Entries will be judged online throughout October and November, 2023
• Second Round: Entries that advance from First Round will be judged online starting November 15, 2023.

• WINNERS Notified: Mid-December, 2023
  The award winners will be publicly revealed at the awards screening in February, 2024.
• Awards Confirmation Due: no later than January 1st, 2024
  All finalists must confirm that all information related to their winning entries is complete and accurate.
• One Screen Winners Screening: February, 2024
  The awards screening will take place at SVA Theatre, located in the cultural center of New York’s vibrant Chelsea neighborhood.
